Gospel Light Baptist Church is a Fundamental, Independent, Bible-believing Baptist church located in Blue Ridge, Georgia. Our vision is to be a beacon of hope for our community and beyond with God’s transforming love. Gospel Light was founded in July 1993 and has spent the last several decades dedicated to inspiring generations to trust and follow Jesus Christ.
We accept the King James Bible as the divinely preserved and perfect Word of God, and use only the King James Bible for all preaching and teaching.

Freddy Thomas
Our Pastor and founder, Brother Freddy Thomas, has been preaching since September 1969. He is a native of Panama City, Florida. He and Brenda were married in October 1967. They have two children, five grandchildren and five great-grandchildren. Brother Freddy has worked as a church planter, missionary in Mexico, and pastor.
Brenda Thomas
Sister Brenda has faithfully served alongside her husband in various ministry opportunities for many years. She continues to pour her love and wisdom into her church family on a daily basis. She also serves as the church secretary.
